Emotional Support
Are you looking for emotional support during a challenging time?
We are here to provide you with a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your work through any challenges you may be facing.
We offer a range of-based therapies and techniques, including CBT, mindfulness, EMDR, and somatic therapy, to help you develop the skills and strategies you need to manage your emotions and improve your overall well-being.
Our goal is to empower you to live a happier, healthier life. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, or other emotional challenges, we provide a safe and supportive space to explore your emotions and work towards healing.
Healing from Trauma
Many of us have been through something in our life that might have left a lasting, negative impression. We struggle to make it through each day and sometimes even sleep gives us no relief. We might be constantly bombarded with reminders of what happened, have trouble concentrating, experience nightmares, and avoid people and places associated with the event.

We want you to know you are experiencing a normal reaction to a horrible situation. It may seem like other people have an easier time dealing with 'worse' things, and you might be constantly beating yourself up over it.

We are skilled in various therapeutic approaches, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These evidence-based techniques are effective in addressing trauma-related symptoms and promoting healing.
Military Trauma
Military trauma, including combat, training incidents, and military sexual trauma (MST), can have profound and lasting impacts on service members.
Many of our counselors are veterans who deeply understand the unique challenges faced by the military community. We are dedicated to helping service members and veterans navigate the complexities of military trauma, providing the support and guidance needed for healing and recovery.
As part of the Veterans Affairs Community Care Network (VACCN), we are able to work directly with veterans independently of the VA.
Relationship Counseling
In relationship counseling, people often seek help to address various issues affecting their relationship. Some common concerns that clients bring up at the start of counseling include:

-
We need to improve our communication.
-
I've noticed a lack of intimacy in our relationship.
-
Trust has been damaged due to infidelity.
-
It's important for us to focus on maintaining a strong relationship.
Relationship counseling provides a safe and neutral space for couples to address these concerns with the help of a trained professional. It can offer valuable insights, teach effective communication and conflict-resolution skills, and provide a supportive environment for rebuilding trust and intimacy. Overall, relationship counseling can help couples navigate challenges and work towards a healthier, more fulfilling partnership.
Children and Teens
Many times, concerned parents reach out to us with questions such as:

-
Are these behaviors "normal?"
-
Am I doing something wrong?
-
My child is struggling in school.
-
I feel like my child is always angry or sad.
-
Things feel off, and I'm not sure what to do.
-
I've noticed major changes in my child's style, social activity, and friends.
-
My child had something really scary happen to them.

We often recommend therapy for children and teens facing emotional and behavioral challenges in these situations. Therapy provides a safe and supportive environment for young individuals to explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. Therapy can help children develop healthy coping skills and improve their overall emotional well-being. It also offers a place for children and teens to process and recover from traumatic experiences. Our goal is to provide children and teens with the necessary guidance and support to navigate life challenges and build resilience for the future.
Life Transitions
Our mental health counselors are here to help people of all ages navigate life transitions. Here are a few common examples:
-
Transitions in young adulthood
-
Career changes
-
Changes in marital status
-
Life-altering diagnoses

We are available to assist you with processing and adapting to these changes, managing stress, developing coping strategies, and setting achievable goals for the future.
