Dr. Tarra Farnham is a USAF veteran, US Marine Corps spouse, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, and athlete mental skills coach with nearly a decade of experience bridging trauma recovery, veteran mental health, and athlete performance. She is nationally rostered in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Dr. Farnham specializes in working with veterans, service members, and athletes by helping them navigate trauma, performance barriers, and life transitions through a balance of structure, compassion, and evidence-based care. Her approach integrates trauma-informed therapy with performance psychology to promote both healing and resilience. ​

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Farnham is the Co-Founder of the VetStrong Project, a nonprofit dedicated to improving veteran well-being through fitness, community, and mental skills training. Her Applied Doctoral Project, The VetStrong Powerlifting Program: Increasing Quality of Life and Perceived Social Support in Military Veterans, reflects her dedication to bridging the gap between mental health and physical performance to foster lifelong strength and connection.
